As you may recall…In January, I asked the Lord what He would like me to focus on for 2023, and I immediately thought (heard) the word…FINISH! I knew I was to finally complete a few things I’d said yes to, had started, or had decided in my heart to do.
The Fall of 2021, I heard a man share how his teenage daughter had blogged her journey of leukemia before moving to heaven. A few years later, someone reached out to tell her dad how his brave girl had recently inspired him. Confused, he explained how that was impossible as she had passed away.
“Oh, but her recorded words had continued to live,” was the reply. The journey she went through helped someone else on theirs. This story touched my heart and then not long afterwards, the Lord impressed upon me to video record the chapters of my book, Good Grief I’m Healed, and upload the Audio Video Book to a playlist on YouTube. This is the project the Holy Spirit has been reminding me of in this season. Many people prefer to watch or listen instead of read, and there are people around the world who don’t have access to obtain books, but they have a cell phone in their hand and watch YouTube. I pray those who need it will be led to it.
My story is about how God heals us in the middle of our brokenness. He restores our joy and hope and replaces our anxious minds with a sound mind. And in the process, He often asks us to share our stories so He can use it to encourage another. My prayer is that my words will continue to live and inspire others to put their hope and trust in Jesus Christ. That is Good News worth sharing!

This past week, as I was spending the early morning with Jesus and my coffee, I asked Him what He’d like to say, and my mind went to Isaiah 43:18-20. So of course I looked it up in my NLT, and I want to leave it with you today to ponder. “But forget all that — it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do a brand new thing. See, I have already begun Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness for my people to come home. I will create rivers for them in the desert, so that my chosen people can be refreshed.”I don’t know what you are going through my friend, but look up! God does not change and He is for you. He wants to refresh you. So, soak in the river of His Presence and in His Word and let Christ do a new thing in your heart. His Word lives forever and delivers healing to the soul.
