Holy Intelligence: Spirit-sourced (HIS)
With all the recent rollouts & talk of AI lately, I have been pondering the use of it, the need for it, and the potential benefits and issues that might arise from it. And as my mind often does, I begin to think of spiritual applications of natural things, in mental WORD pictures. The Holy Spirit speaks messages to me this way & I believe, regardless of your choice to use AI or not, the truth of this message is applicable to us all and worthy of pausing to ponder it. I hope it encourages you.
The word artificial means: fake, not real. The word intelligence refers to wisdom. So AI is “fake wisdom” and this is what everyone is so excited about. I do realize there may be need for the technology in the medical field and in other industries, that could save lives and create breakthroughs and opportunities. But again… spiritually thinking for a moment… we read in the Bible it is the “fear of the Lord” or awe/reverence that is the beginning of TRUE wisdom. And we also find that it is the Holy Spirit who lives in the hearts (minds) of the believers, who guides us into all truth and will teach us all things, and remind of of everything Jesus has said. When we go to the Source of the Holy Spirit and the Truth of the Word of God to get our help, we will receive AI at it’s finest. It will be Authentic Intelligence” that only comes from spending time in the Word, listening to the still small voice of the Holy Spirit, and by trusting in Jesus with our whole hearts.
If we are not careful…hear me out…we will quickly forget where our help comes from and we will trade the authentic for the fake. When we hope & trust in ANYTHING over our hope and trust in God, we become vulnerable to enemy attacks (in our minds) & drift further away from the Presence of the Holy Spirit who is ready to source us, empower us, guide us, help us, comfort us, teach us, lead us, and give us His peace in the process.
Let’s keep our eyes on Jesus and ask the Holy Spirit how to move forward as we trust God. He may say, “go ahead and use that tech tool, or go that way, or do that thing, or ______(you fill in the blank),” but He also may say, “not yet or no.” All I’m saying is WHATEVER we do, if you are HIS, and HE IS yours, lets ask HIM before we ask google, Chad AI or anyone else. THEN… after hearing from Him, we can proceed as He leads! That is responsibly using AI (Authentic Intelligence) with TRUE WISDOM from above, and I can’t live without it, can you?
But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. John 14:26
Friend, thank you for continuing to open these monthly words of Good News the Holy Spirit gives me to share with you. Each time I sit to write, the Lord fills me with His words, His comfort, His joy, His peace and His message He wants me to share. I pray that as you read His Word and mine, that you will know you are loved and there is hope for you no matter what your circumstances seem to be at the moment. Lift up your eyes to the Lord and put your trust in Him! He is mighty to save. He is the source of our comfort. God is the one who will turn your sorrow and mourning to moments of joy. He will fill our hearts with gladness as we keep our hearts turned towards Him, and as we remember that He fulfilled ALL His promises in the life of Christ, the Hope of all the world! Thank you for your prayers for our family! I pray blessings upon you and your family as well. This good news of Thanksgiving needs to be shared!
